"Clean room, great pool"

"I booked because this location had high reviews on cleanliness. This was not the case for my visit. There was a line of black mold in the tiny shower area. The door separating the toilet from the sink area was water logged and a roach was in the sink area. The bathtub wasn't secured to the floor and rocked/made noises when you move. The door latch was broken and we had to struggle to get it locked. The most infuriating part of the stay: there was LOUD banging in the room next to us throughout the night. I called the front desk and he sent security. Security did nothing, even though the people next door opened and banged the door shut while he was standing there. The next morning we were awakened by the same loud banging! If you want a pleasant, clean stay DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL. Also, there is an unadvertised $10 per night parking fee."

"Amazing hotel would highly recommend for families. There’s so much to do- 2 pools, lazy rivers, hot tub, water slide and more. They also have a bowling alley and arcade on site. Our building was right next to Volcano Bay and they have a special entry for hotel guests which was a plus. Already planning my next stay!"

"Do not let the photos online decieve you, while the room was nice and pretty accurate to the images online, the area where the rooms are is looks absolutely nothing like the photos. Less like a resort and more like a motel trying to be a resort."

"Very nice resort, great amenities. Shuttle to parks, Starbucks in the hotel Enjoyed it until the last night when a tidal wave of teens came in and you know the rest. Non-stop ruckus. Overall, very satisfied with my stay!"

"The staff was hit and miss. When we arrived, we had a ton of bags and had our dog in tow and no one offered to assist with our bags. It was quite hectic to unload everything and then park the car. Upon checkin, the lady did not offer any info on the property, nothing about the shuttle, nothing about restaurants on property or breakfast times. Once we got to our room, which was supposed to be a universal studios view, it was disappointing that it wasn’t really a universal studios view. It was a side view. Our room faced an apartment building. I figured it was a mistake and went back to the desk and they said they don’t really have a view even though they charge extra for a view. It’s really a side view. Outside of the view, the room was nice. No microwave. 2 complimentary bottles of water. The elevators are super slow. Overall, I would stay again, as the location was perfect for universal."
