「Welcoming staff. Beautiful (small but fine for us) room. Great bed and bedding. Fabulous shower. We stayed in a Clubroom on floor 5. In the evening the bar/grill had a great vibe. Lovely grilled chicken wraps and chips for lunch. 」

Old fashioned English Inn with a lovely atmosphere and friendly staff. Tidy room with a modern en-suite shower room. Bed not to our liking but that's very much a personal choice. In a very quiet location with no shops nearby but would recommend for an overnight stay.」

「Hotel is beautiful, beautifully kept, with super comfortable beds, but my biggest praise must go to the staff. I had a very late arrival (1am) from a business meeting in London, I got lost in the lanes and there was emergency road works, I called the hotel tired, cranky and lost, Richard was so kind, patient, calm, what an absolutely outstanding example of looking after your customers, when I arrived he extended that excellence, by upgrading me so I could stay in the main house and personally...

「Spacious and clean room and two comfortable double beds. Good shower room. Really quiet on 3rd floor especially given Christmas party night going on amd the busy pub on ground floor. Reasonable prices and more facilities than a premier inn which is probably a comparable standard. Pub food was average but some good offers on food and drinks if you join the rewards club app, breakfast buffet was better than dinner food. Really friendly staff at reception and in the pub/bar. 」
