「Poor room cleaning, bad experience」

「Our original room had not been finished cleaned when we arrived. They moved us to a different room that was ready. There were dirt particles on the floor and the bottom of toilet was dirty. Built up dirt and urine splatter had not been cleaned up. Tub area had hard water stains as well. When walking through the hallways you could also see dirt buildup along the edges by doors etc. I would not stay at this property again. Your housekeeping staff needs to be educated on properly cleaning...

「Online pictures looked way better than the actual place. Think Motel 8 before their revamp. Requested a room change bc 1st room was musty, carpet felt wet. 2nd room was a better (habitable) but still had lingering smoking smell. Performed my own maintenance- trash removal, cleaning, towel/floor mat replacement. Points for BBQ and picnic table usage, and basic breakfast were available.」

「The property is very nice. Not a hotel but more a high end hostel. No TV so plan accordingly. Spacious and communal kitchen so no room coffee. Bring a book or laptop.」

「this is typical of ends in the area, but cadence has a really nice renovation. Really friendly staff very well run comfortable beds clean rooms. Good showers nice products good towels good parking all around a really great place in a great location really close to all of the fun things to do in the area. and it is dog friendly for a small extra fee.」

「This was great place not too far from Lake Placid and perfect jump off point for mountain biking, hiking, and paddling. It was quiet, clean room that had an awesome tub to relax after hard day of playing outside. Also looks like some (maybe all) were remolded and done well with simple but nice furnishings.」

「I had a great time here. The room was beautiful. I was surprised how much space you get. I visited in the summer and it has AC if you need it. I like the log cabin feel they have with the wood paneling on the walls. I had a little snafu with the room code at first but the gentleman from the staff that came down was super helpful and friendly and we got that sorted out quickly. They have a completely virtual check in system which is cool, just be prepared for it unlike me lol. Not very good...

「BRestaurant didn’t seem to be open. Room 19 was really dated and tub was taped up with black tape. Room wasn’t ready at 3pm. Towels very thin. Property overall seemed run down. Still would say that for the money, I would stay here again. Location is good.」
