While the suite was renovated, the sheets were dirty, the room wasn’t cleaned and the room stink of cigarettes. We left after the first night and found other accommodations.

Clean room, good location. Had issue with the electronic lock, and door of my room was opened when I arrived. I tried to call, text and e-mail to fix the issue, I never got a reply. I had to figure it out by myself, several hours later.

The Maple Leaf is in a great location, walking distance to several restaurants and quick drive to many others. We stayed on 2 different nights over a 5 day time period and both of the rooms we were given were clean and we did not lack for any basics. Beds were comfortable, sheets soft, and both the a/c & heating units were efficient and quiet. Parking was right in front of each room. The check-in was smooth and simple and they went above and beyond to provide us with a much needed early check-in for one of our stays. Would not hesitate to stay at the Maple Leaf should we visit the area again!

Overall a clean room but didn’t look like the pictures (the picture for the basic room had 2 king beds) and this just had one full bed which was a bit cramped. Good walking distance to lake placid downtown.

Wonderful stay!

We stayed one night at this motel to enjoy the beautiful fall colors. The location is perfect, about a 10-minute walk to Mirror Lake, where there are lots of shops and restaurants. The room was clean and quiet. The bed was comfortable, and we appreciated having a large TV, a fridge, and a microwave. Everything was spotless. There’s no front desk, you receive a code and room number before your arrival, which makes check-in super easy and convenient. Great location and very good value for the price. We’ll definitely stay here again! 🍁
