"High winds and there was an issue with the window not being able to close properly which caused a lot of noise throughout the night. Barely was able to sleep."

"The ocean front view was amazing! We were able to see the Santa Monica Pier from our balcony and was nice to be able to sit and sight see from our room. The staff was super friendly and very helpful, they made our stay nice and easy. "

"The pool wasn't heated for the four days we were there. It was why I picked the property for my grandson. My shower didn't have heat either for the four days; the repair person came and looked at and didn't repair it; the mixer valve needs to be replaced. I had cold showers. The coffee makers we ordered for each room prior to arrival were not provided, they were not restocked completely each night. Weighted blanked request in advance was not provided either. We liked the decorating scheme and ambiance. The restaurant did not have outdoor dining available for us first two nights because of scaffolding for construction repair up. Third night a private party happened so scaffolding was brought down for it. That's when the outdoor heaters were finally on- for them. Luckily we did not have interior courtyard rooms or we would have listened to the party. But boy, cold showers entire time."

"Had a short stay but was great. Dog friendly, location is prime to beach, shopping, restaurants and mass transportation to anywhere in Los Angeles. Rooms were clean and fully stocked with basic amenities, we paid a little more for a private balconey so we had a great view. Continental breakfast had hot food as well, so it was nice change from the breakfast bar and yogurt places."

"Love staying here. Close to everything the beach, restaurants, the pier. Accomedates my family. I just wish there was more parking, hate showing up late at night, & having to walk back from public parking in the cold in the dark. Everything else is great. My family & I will return. <3"

"We had a great time staying 5 nights at the Fairmont Miramar. We had a wonderful spacious suite. We enjoyed the fitness area, spa & pool. The food at The Fig was delicious. Gil & Dillon made sure we had everything we needed poolside. Good service from all the staff. Housekeeping, Room Service, Bartenders, Waiters/waitresses were all very nice. Jordan, our main concierge was extremely helpful with any request we asked of him. We were impressed with the entire resort."

"This was our third visit to the Santa Monica Proper and we look forward to returning. The building and furnishings are beautiful and the rooms are welcoming and comfortable. We love the food at the roof top restaurant and enjoy lounging in the beautiful setting around the pool. The staff is great- helpful and accomodating. We also love the location- walking distance to charming cafes and the beach. "
