"Very spacious and clean apartment in a very nice part of the city. The street has a very nice atmosphere at night with Thursday night in particular being very busy (we stayed midweek) would imagine weekends are the same, top of the street has many wine bars with people standing outside (was never 'rowdy'! Just full of locals 'catching up')"

About a mile from the central station and 1.5 miles from the Duomo, we appreciated the easy access and the quiet of this wonderful hotel. The rooms are artistically decorated and lots of free and high quality food is served throughout the day. Would definitely recommend this place and return to it if I was back in Milan

starting with the doorman and going on to the cheerful welcome by Clizia at the front desk, it became quite clear that everyone who works here is carefully chosen for the ability to pamper the clients. Annalisa at the lounge, Fabrezio at the concierge desk were both notable in the friendliness. this hotel will be my go-to hotel if i return to Milan

We received check in at 12:00 and check out at 13:30 the next day for 1 night, which is really nice especially after a long flight. The hotel is chic and very Milanese style which can not be fully reflected in photos.
Walking to train station easily.

This is our 3rd time staying here. Great location, staff go above and beyond. And this weekend they are opening a small bistro which will be great for pre dinner drinks or a light lunch, I’ll tell you once we’ve scoped it.

The Viu Hotel is a 40 minute walk to Duomo and city center, but can be easily accessible with all day metro pass good for the bus, subway and rail tram at 4.5 Euros. You can take the number 12 or 14 tram directly from the hotel (1/2 block away) to Duomo and city center and return. Two and 1/2 blocks away is tram number 10 which will take you to centrale or the main central railway station. I had a wonderful stay at the Lancaster Hotel. I realized on arrival (after traveling for nearly 24 hours!) that I had lost my passport and the concierge was so kind and helped to call the cab company to try to find it. The room was comfortable and clean, and the breakfast was lovely and delicious. All the staff were lovely. I would not hesitate to come here again and would recommend to anybody. The only downside is it a little distance to the nearest metro stop but there is a tram that goes...

The hotel is beautiful. Large rooms. Clean and most importantly clean showers. Staff was so pleasant and accommodating. The VIP access option is only good if you are parking a car on premises. Location is great, near tons of restaurants and shops. Only downfall is the trolley makes noise that you hear. Great hotel for families.

This hotel is perfect if you want to stay close to the central station. My family stayed for 5 nights and we are very happy with the breakfast and room. The staff are very friendly. Front desk allowed us to check-in at 11am. Three of us stayed at the deluxe room on the 3rd floor. The room is very new (newly renovated) and spacious (including the bathroom). Mini bar are free and they also gave us bottles of water every day. Breakfast are great! The only problem is the bar across from the hotel....

Great location just a 5 minute walk from the Milan Duomo. Close to shopping and dining. The hotel was very clean and our room was wonderful. Well thought out use of space. The breakfast was AMAZING! Made to order omelet station, fresh fruits and juices and many other options. Was one of the best breakfasts we had during our 2 weeks in Italy. I would definitely stay here again on our next trip back to Milan.
