「Located in the heart of St Augustine close to shops and monuments. As an inn, it’s ok — quiet, clean, parking included. The food could use a bit of improvement, and some aspects of the building could use a refresh. 」

「Room was nice, but bathroom door didn’t lock. Housekeeping was excellent. Front desk personnel were not great. We had to have other staff contact someone to come to the front desk where a long line had been waiting. Front desk personnel were rude and short when they finally did arrive. No microwaves in rooms-only one is located in the main lobby.」

Following our check-out, my husband inadvertently left his pill case in the room, and Abigail promptly contacted me to inform us and facilitate its retrieval. 「Small hotel with unbeatable location right on Vilano Beach with short drive to downtown St. Augustine. All rooms have an ocean view with small balcony (though first floor may be partially obstructed by sand dunes (we were on second floor)). Hotel is very pet friendly (and dogs are allowed on the beach). Friendly/helpful staff. No pool; breakfast decent not great. Still worth it.」

「Didn’t realize Daytona beach bikers week drew thousands of loud motorcycles into st Augustine. The noise was so bad we checked out of the Hilton Bayfront and happily checked in to the peace and plenty which is only a short walk from the center of town. 」
