"I stayed in an Oceanfront room and was disappointed by the room condition. The curtains had visible stains, the walls showed damage and wear, and the overall room felt poorly maintained. I understand the property is older, but the condition did not meet my expectations for this room category or price point.Even if the location is excellent, room condition has a big impact on the overall experience. * Resort fees, parking, and breakfast can add significantly to the total cost. Not ideal for * Travelers seeking a quiet luxury resort experience * Couples wanting a secluded beachfront escape * Guests who prioritize large pools and extensive resort grounds Like: * Directly across from Waikīkī Beach with excellent ocean-view rooms. * Walking distance to restaurants, shopping, surfing, and attractions."

"I loved our suite on 30th floor. Very spacious. Amazing view of the harbor. Very secure with a 6 digit passcode on the door to the room. Ubers brought us to and from the front curb. I would definitely stay here again. My only concern… the entrance to the hotel is on street level but I didn’t see a single sign that said “The Aston Hotel”. I thought that was very poor communication by the hotel. The normal entrance was down the escalator to the downstairs lobby. Even at the top of the escalator, no Aston sign. We had luggage and finally discovered the elevator which just said “Hotel” and you had to press the intercom to get the elevator to open. Once we got checked in, we understood the location entrance. I’m sure the reason for making it difficult was to dissuade all the homeless street people on the street level."

"All rooms had an ocean view. Very spacious and comfortable. The staff went above and beyond to make sure we were close to the rest of our party who had booked separately. Even though it was busy the design of the towers made it not feel crowded at all. The pools were perfect with amazing sunsets! We were within a very short walk you our outstanding back to back Pink Sails turtle snorkeling and then coming off one of their boats to hop on another one to go on a whale watching tour. The hotel amenities were perfect with a cafe on site as well as a highly recommended restaurant. The bar staff at the pool had the best costumer service. We will be coming back for sure!"
