"Our room had an ant infestation and we found crumbs under our bed. We asked the front desk to please send up someone to vacuum the room and spray for the ants while we went out for the night. It was not done. We had to clean up under the bed when we got back late and keep killing the ants. Ew! We showed them videos of all the ants, but still nothing was done. No elevator and I have a very hard time with stairs. They offered for us to move from the 1st floor (which is one flight up already), to the second or third floor. I would have gladly taken them up on their offer, but my knees would not allow it. Also, guests would leave garbage around. A drinking cup here, Andes candies wrappers there, which I am sure happens, but not enough staff to keep up with the keep up."

"This is a gem of a motel in a perfect location for beach access (or to nearby Kingston, Wakefield etc.). It was immaculate and so well maintained with a friendly staff. The room was lovely, there was plenty of hot water, I was so grateful for in room coffee and mini fridge and the 6:30 AM coffee in the office! My only minor piece of feedback is that there are only bagels for breakfast so maybe a few yogurts or other options would be amazing but this was a wonderful place to stay while I was visiting family and I hope to be back!"

"My husband and I recently spent the first weekend in June at this property, and had a perfect vacation. Our experience was truly wonderful. Having a room right on the beach and being able to hear the surf all night was awesome. We also thoroughly enjoyed the beach bar, specifically the seltzer juice spritzers and the mocktails. The dining experience was equally impressive. We had breakfast, lunch, and dinner at the restaurant across the street, and every meal was perfect. We especially appreciated the service when our breakfast was brought across the street so we could eat in the cabana under our umbrella. The service throughout our stay was commendable, and it is clear how much care goes into running this family-owned business. We cannot say enough good things about our time look forward to visiting again. Best regards, Lisa Guthrie"
