「Found a room on the Hotels.com app but stopped by the hotel to check it out before booking. The front desk initially said no rooms were available, despite the app showing otherwise. After some persistence and a 10–15 minute discussion involving another staff member, I was shown a room I liked. Due to system issues, I was told to book through the app. I did so, paid, and received confirmation, which the clerk also saw—but they still couldn’t assign the room due to aforementioned system issue. 「I am going to celebrate my husband's wedding. The hotel is cosy and unique, it has a nice restaurant where we had dinner and breakfast during our stay, and a small library bar where you can chill with friends. The room is spacious and warm, we love this hotel.」

「The staff at the Kings Head is outstanding! The hotel is in a great location. We had a wonderful room that has a very spacious bathroom (it was the Richmond room). The mattress and pillows could do with a replacement. Breakfast in the morning is delicious and you don’t need to leave to hotel for great fish and chips. The seating area in the lobby and bar was very welcoming and relaxing. 」

「Kingslodge Inn is a lovely English country inn conveniently located near Durham train station and bus station. The room is spacious and comfortable, and the bar & restaurant offer great good in a cozy environment. Just note that there isn't an elevator; I had to carry my big suitcase one floor up.」
