「Room was ok but… they had done some painting of the bathroom ceiling and there were paint splatters literally on every surface and wall of the bathroom. The rest of our stay was satisfactory but it left me wondering what else they cut corners on. Also, the air conditioning made a weird wheezing sound. The staff was very nice, especially the breakfast staff who did a great job. 」

「We stayed there at Christmas, because our family is all there and this last stay was to bury our son after a tragic death. I was shocked to see the rate had doubled due to a Liberty U. event. How is that fair to guests that choose your property in a time of need? We'll re-think our next trip to Lynchburg and check out a VRBO. 「This was one of the most pleasant stays at a "hotel" I've ever experienced, I would have happily stayed more than one night if needed. The setting is lovely and peaceful. The room was quiet at night and our beds were comfortable. Our room faced the woods with a patio which we spent a lot of time on. The facility is on the older side, but everything was clean and organized and we had everything we needed. You can park close to your room and I love that it's only 2 stories with outside access...
