「I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Timberlake Motel, and can see why so many other guests have given this homey accommodation such glowing reviews. The staff were very courteous and welcoming and the room was quiet and well appointed, with a luxurious bed and linens that made for a very pleasant rest. The Timberlake Motel is also conveniently placed with easy access to the downtown historic district or to some of the other landmark areas of Lynchburg, such as the university or shopping mall....

「Very friendly staff and clean facility. Just gave a 4 for clean because there was a lot of dust in the bathroom near the towel area and other surfaces. It seemed like room was in in use recently and staff forgot the dust the room.」

「The facility itself from a glance seemed updated even clean. Once you got in the room it was a bit motel-ish. Blanket on the bed had hair stuck to it. Easy to rid that issue and I just took it off the bed entirely. The bathroom was likely rinsed down and not cleaned. The cubbies where the towels go in the bathroom need wiping and dusting. Same for the rest of the room. Even the bed frame I had to wipe down a bit. Didn’t get a picture of it though. The ice machine on the main floor needs to be...

「We were in town for a track meet. The hotel is cute and close to liberty university. We booked a business suite for more space. The rooms are large and have a washer and dryer in the room. Free breakfast is standard, well prepared and just what we needed to start our day. Nice hotel for a good price. The business suite has a 2 burner kitchen and full sized fridge and dishwasher as well. Worth the price.」

「One night family stay, bathroom fan wouldn’t turn off, sink faucet handle hits mirror above when using it, noticeable stain in middle of chair cushion, large dent in wall, bedroom curtain coming off of track. No ramp in front of hotel entrance. Need to carry luggage up onto curb. Expected a better maintained hotel. Staff was friendly.」
