The staff upon arrival was pleasant and helpful. The room was very nice....clean, comfortable bed, well stocked, nice kitchen area with full size refrigerator, nice sitting room with couch, chair and TV, nicely decorated! Really enjoyed staying here!

The hotel after the remodel is really nice and clean. The heated inside pool is not heated though it is supposed to be. I really enjoyed staying here and would definitely do so again. I just want the pool to be warmer.

This was an amazing experience. Everyone was helpful and I felt I walked into a restful location that was not bustling like most places you stay. The dining area was big and inviting. You wanted to eat breakfast and not feel rushed in and out so there is room for the next people. LOVED this experience and can't wait to stay here again.

Very satisfied overall. The room was great despite a busted pull out sofa. The rooms were tastefully decorated and the restaurant and bar were better than expected. The staff was friendly and very responsive to our needs!

Room was immaculate, clean and well maintained. I loved the refreshing scent that greeted me as I opened the hotel door the very first time and lingered for the entire 2 nights stay. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. The hotel is near many different restaurants and mall. The bed was too hard for me but everything else was top notch allowing me to put up with the bed issue. Overall beautiful hotel. I will choose Bella Vista again when in the area.

At check-in the room was not cleaned from the last guests, they had to change our room. The bar and restaurant closed way early so we had no food or drinks. On day 2 we planned to spend the morning in the pool. At 10 am I asked the desk for towels for the pool and she gave them to me. We got in then they told us hey the pool is closed for cleaning. Instead of cleaning the pool before open time at 10 am or maybe even overnight they had it closed all morning. It was a really nice place but the staff really needs better training and communication skills. Breakfast was excellent, bed was comfy, shower was great. I would definitely recommend this hotel

We walked into a beautiful lobby and breakfast area with a fountain and fire pit. We were impressed and thought we had found our new favorite hotel in Lynchburg. Then we walked to our room with carpet stains everywhere. I like a firm bed, but this one was so hard I actually thought throwing a blanket in the floor and sleeping there may be more comfortable. It’s unfortunate so much time and money was spent on the area you walk through for a few minutes rather than where you sleep for hours.

This is our second time staying at this hotel since our daughter started at LU. The location is great. The price is very reasonable especially on the peak weekends surrounding the university when all of the other hotels in the area are raising their prices. The hotel itself is very nice on the outside and the lobby is beautiful. The ladies at the check-in desk are so nice and welcoming. The rooms are clean and big. The bathrooms are a little small, but the shower pressure is wonderful. The breakfast is what you would expect from a complimentary and the coffee is good and fresh which is a big thing for me. However, the beds and pillows are awful. That is our biggest complaint about this hotel. We brought our own pillows on our second stay (we learned from the first) but there is nothing we could do about the bed. Our daughter is a freshman so we will have many more trips to Lynchburg over the years. We will not count this hotel out, but will looks for others first because of the beds.

What used to be a lovely property has been cheepened with ground in dirt on the carpets, ground in dirt on pool deck. Pink office chairs by reception desk were filthy. Lower rooms on first floor have been converted into an assisted living facility. Parts of the guest room was unfinished. Locks in rooms were removed and or broken. It appears the the building is in transition to become a nursing home. Staff was indifferent. No carpets in rooms. Etc,...

This was my family’s first stay at the Bella Vista. We were pleasantly surprised. It was a charming hotel with great amenities. It seemed like it was a refurbished older hotel so if you looked beyond the bling, you could tell it was an older lady. But for the price, it was excellent! I gave it only four stars because there definitely needs to be some upgrades to the carpet in the hallways. And a few other maintenance things that could be upgraded. I do wish there was an ice machine on our floor because going down to the first floor was not always practical. The hotel rooms themselves had vinyl flooring, which was fantastic! No carpets and I truly wish other hotels would follow suit. Overall, a good stay and we will definitely look into this hotel when we plan our next trip back to Lynchburg. Oh, and the breakfast was very nice as well. No complaints.

We were in town for a track meet. The hotel is cute and close to liberty university. We booked a business suite for more space. The rooms are large and have a washer and dryer in the room. Free breakfast is standard, well prepared and just what we needed to start our day. Nice hotel for a good price. The business suite has a 2 burner kitchen and full sized fridge and dishwasher as well. Worth the price.
