「Absolutely loved this resort! It’s beautiful! Swim out room was worth the extra cost! We rented a car a drive there, took a while to get there, and the road is a bit sketchy to drive at night, but it was cheaper that scheduling a ride. Takes about 2-3 hours from Liberia depending on traffic. We will be back though. It was so relaxing and the cocktails were delicious! Just go!」

「Hung up in unbelievable traffic in Santa Cruz, I was not able to check into the hotel until 7 AM the next day when they reopened. So I don't have the overnight experience one expects. That said, the room was very clean, the shower had good hot water, and I did get a morning nap on the bed. Fort7nately, it is off the road a bit. But noise carries and young Costa Ricans love their motorcycles. So if you are super noise sensitive that might bother you, but the traffic is really light on that...
