The Resort and grounds were beautiful. The food was really good at all the restaurants. The staff was accommodating and nice. It’s a very chill and lowkey resort so if you’re looking for beautiful scenery and our relaxation, this is the place for you!

The property is very clean and pretty modern right on the beach. The room was wonderful and the staff were pleasant and always helpful. We enjoyed the entire week. I wasn't overly impressed with the food. While there were plenty of places to eat with several different styles of food, nothing really jumped out. The whole Samara area is really nice and pretty quiet. You can walk on the beach all the way to town (about 2 miles). It was a little hot in the afternoon.

This was a great vacation and all of the staff were very friendly. It’s a two hour drive from Liberia but is quieter than most all inclusive resorts which is what we were looking for. They had rotating restaurants to reserve for dinner with unique menus and made great drinks.

The resort is very nice, definitely enjoyed our experience here. The food was good, and staff was super friendly. Not able to get Ubers but hotel helped with calling a taxi which was very easy (though only takes cash). It’s far from the airport but we loved our stay here

The swim up room was great and the pool and pool bar was wonderful. Johnathon, Rolo and the other staff did a great job. This is a very relaxing slow-paced vibe which is exactly what we needed.

The room was great. We had the deluxe king swim up with an ocean view. Most of the staff was courteous and the overall resort was good. There needs to be an improvement on the food and the selection. Also, the resort needs to buy more bath towels and pool towels. It was like pulling teeth just to get a towel. I would have still rated 4 stars. However, the morning we needed to check out we got locked out of our room for over an hour before anyone could resolve the problem (the batteries needed changing in the door lock). We ended up arriving later to the airport. We stayed at Azura Beach in April 2024 and we came back because we really enjoyed it. However, after this stay, we will not be back any time soon.

My fiancé and I were traveling and checked into our rented condo, but unfortunately the AC was broken. We looked up AZURE and decided to check out this location for our week-long stay. From the minute we walked in the door, the staff was kind and welcoming, and we received a tour of the resort and immediately fell in love with it. We decided to book and stay for the week. I have had the opportunity to travel to other all‑inclusive locations, and this one was by far the best place I have stayed at. This resort is truly 5 stars. The staff, food, and rooms were all top‑notch. This is a smaller, adults‑only resort; we enjoyed the pools and quiet atmosphere. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to relax and unwind.

Beautiful boutique hotel. Loved the pool and the beach. It wasn’t busy in early November. The bar services excellent cocktails with quality alcohol. Friendly staff. Loved the certified yoga instructor. More 8am classes would be awesome Cons-AC not working in gym. Increasing size of gym would be an asset. Terrible bathroom, designs a solid door would help.

The resort and its location was gorgeous and lush. Tucked away in a remote part of Costa Rica, Samará is blessed with mountains and ocean views. Azura was quiet escape from the hustle and allowed us to feel relaxed. The resort restaurants were excellent, my favorite being the Chill & Grill. I was underwhelmed by the spa service and the gym, however it didn’t dampen my overall experience and happily recommend anyone to visit Samará and Azura for a calm trip.

My stay at Azura was fantastic! Everything about this adult-only hotel felt relaxing and well thought out. The rooms were spotless, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. The staff were incredibly attentive and always went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect. One of the biggest highlights was the beach of Carrillo, located right next to the property — absolutely stunning and peaceful, easily the highlight of the entire trip. Overall, it was a wonderful experience. I’m giving it four stars only because nothing’s ever completely perfect, but this came very close! I’d definitely return and recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing, adults-only getaway.

This isn’t a large resort. Everything closes at 10 literally everything. I don’t like that the restaurant only opened on certain nights and I had a swim up room but no one came to clean the leaves out the pool other then once at night when we’re trying to get dress. The staff was slow moving. All request had to go through WhatsApp and I found my self sending the same text more than once. No live activity, games, or entertainment on this resort which I didn’t like. Food was good, drinks depending on who made them if they was good or not. This resort is for relaxing only that’s it.

Overall great place! FAR from San Jose airport tho! Jazmin and Alejandro are amazing! The food was great, and overall the place is BEAUTIFUL. Our room AC wasn’t the coldest at night, and the larger pools pump was NEVER on. So as someone who managed a pool company at a time in my life, that’s not the best. Hope they get it fixed. But great time, made some cool friends, and the wet bar is the best!
