「It’s a cute little house in the center of the town, some of the room provides lake view. The room has high ceiling, but one downside is there’s no blackout curtain and the lake view is facing east with bright light in the morning. Self service coffee in the hallway.(could be a bit disturbing in the morning when people are making coffee right outside your door.) 「Room was very comfortable but paint was peeling and was a bit worn. Walls very thin so could hear talking from other rooms.Unfortunately we tried to go to restaurant but it was very crowded at 530pm so we went somewhere else, it looks nice! Check in was easy and everyone so nice .I would stay again but probably try for the lodge or end room , it would help to have a Keurig or coffee maker in room.PERFECT location for high peaks hiking !!! 「There brook in the background is great. This place is an old style, but we’re ok with it. This is our second stay. The staff is very nice and does everything to help you. Right off the road, but quiet. Nearby town for food. No elevator for second floor. Again, fine for us. No AC, but you don’t usually need it and rooms have fans. The doors are odd, but all work. Let the water run awhile for a hot shower or washing dishes. Good size fridge and stove. Great access to all things Adirondack. 」
