"It’s always nice to stay at the Alpine. The rooms are clean and the beds super comfortable but the lack of staff is a drag. I stayed two nights and on the second could not locate my room key number. I sat in the car at 11 pm trying to find it in my email. It took 30 minutes before I finally found it. I wish there was a number to call but I tried that on another stay and didn’t get an answer until the next day. Nevertheless this is a nice place to stay"

"We stayed at the lodge for Ironman Lake Placid. It is close enough to easily get to and from the venue, but far away enough to enjoy the quiet surrounding area. Our stay was incredible. The breakfast was the best part. The blueberry muffins can’t be beat! The rooms were cozy and the lodge was peaceful. Loved hanging out at the river behind the lodge to relax. We will be back!"
