Yavanna at the front desk is very helpful and kind, as are the other employees. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and everything is immaculate since the recent renovation. It’s an easy walk to the downtown and ice arenas. We enjoyed our stay!

Did a solo trip and what a gem of a place. Recently renovated with amazing decor. Location was just off the main drag which meant parking is a breeze and no having to wade through downtown traffic. Easy to walk the entire main drag from the hotel. Adjacent restaurant also great food and service.

The hotel was in the middle of a soft launch as they refurbished some of the rooms. Our room was quiet and comfortable! The bath towels were extravagant! The front desk, staff and manager went out of their way to answer our questions, give us referrals, and provide any help or assistance that we ask about. Loved this place! The restaurant was opened, and the food was delicious! The staff couldn’t do enough for us!

We would 100% stay here again! Not only were the rooms new, clean, and decorated beautifully, the location was also perfect. Walking distance to main street so we didn't have to worry about parking. We also had an emergency situation and the staff was absolutely amazing. They even went out of our way to give us a ride and extend our stay at last minute notice. Keith and his team are genuinely the best and make you feel like family as soon as you check in! I highly recommend this hotel

Outstanding experience—historic charm meets modern service Honestly, I'm so glad I stayed here. Even in the middle of a remodel, the experience was flawless. The check-in greeting was stellar, and they guided me past the construction straight to my floor. I love the touchless concept because the off-site/hybrid staff is so responsive—any text or call was answered immediately with total professionalism. The rooms are a perfect mix of modern updates and 1920s historic style. I am seriously impressed and will absolutely be back to see the final look!

What a surprise to find out that we were one of the first guests to stay at the Newly renovated St Moritz ! Parking was easy right in front of the hotel. We were greeted by the staff quickly and they had us set up in no time. The property is newly renovated…we were one of the first guests to arrive on their first official opening day…although we had no idea that was going to be the case. The team looked after us beautifully and the bell boys offered to carry our suitcases up to the 4th floor for us. Each level of this historical building had been preserved and we were in awe. Our room was bright l, modern, clean and exactly what we expected. FYI: there is a small elevator as well. They have a gorgeous sitting area on the main level that is cozy and inviting. Don’t miss out on a meal on the deck or in the restaurant, you’ll be happy you chose to eat there. Walking distance to the main streets for shops, restaurants and waterfront. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and wouldn’t hesitate to return again.

The hotel was beautiful but no hot tub yet not until 2027 staff was very kind and helpful if you like a very firm bed you will love it the only down side was we could not control the heat or air conditioner so room stayed at 77 degrees even with window open at around 40 degrees outside

This hotel is currently under major renovations. We were told we were some of the first guests to stay during their "soft opening". We stayed in the king room with the soaking tub and it was delightful. Upon checkin, we were offered by Keith to have our bags carried up, as the elevator is currently out of service. We managed ourselves, but it was a nice gesture! The room smelled brand new! We had one small hiccup with the shower head, and while we went to dinner Keith went and addressed the issue and promptly informed us that it had been resolved. Keith informed us that there was no rush to check out by 11, to take our time, which was much appreciated. There was morning coffee and donuts in the lobby. A few points to improve on would would be some wall art, a dresser for clothes (there's lots of space on the wall under the big tv!), and to have the windows cleaned! Again, being a soft opening, maybe these things are on the agenda! We will be back! P.S. Keith is great! And make sure you eat at the restaurant attached to the hotel!

I travel to Lake Placid a few times a year for work and have stayed at most of the hotels in town. This one stands out for the room quality and the ease of the experience. The touchless check in was efficient and the text based service was responsive whenever I had a question. The room itself is well put together. The finishes are nice + the bathroom is nice and the bed is comfortable. The mountain view is a nice bonus when you have a moment to sit and look out. The location is convenient for walking to restaurants and shops since it's incredibly central. I will likely stay here again on my next trip.

I loved the bathroom!! The tiles and the marble washstand looked sharp. Provided the usuals: soap, shampoo & conditioner. The walk in shower was great. Everything felt freshly done and I love that it felt so new. I also liked the brass sconces by the bed and the old style push button switches, little touches that gave the room some character.

You really cannot beat the location here. I parked my car when I arrived and did not touch it again until I left. Everything is right there. I walked to dinner, walked to the lake, walked to the shops. It made the whole trip so much easier. The room was clean and comfortable and I had everything I needed. I also loved the little details in the room, and the bed was cozy enough that I did not want to get up in the morning. The staff was easy to reach by text for any questions I had. I would definitely stay here again just for how convenient it was.

I really appreciated the attention to detail in the room, from the brass sconces and push button light switches to the black tile bathroom and the marble washstand. The bedding was comfortable and the room felt cozy and inviting, especially enjoyed sitting by the window looking out at the mountain. The staff checked in by text and everything went smoothly. I would stay here again.

I liked that the check in process was simple. I got a code, went straight up, and settled in. The staff checked in via text once to make sure everything was fine and that was all I needed.. I appreciated the free parking and the easy access to town. The room was clean and comfortable. Overall a very pleasant stay and I would book here again.

I stayed in one of the King mountain view rooms on the fourth floor. They are brand new and look amazing, you can tell there was a lot of thought and intention put into them. The finishes and furniture choices fit the room nicely, and I loved the bathroom details. It was cloudy the first day of my stay, but in the morning the sky cleared enough to see out toward Mt. Marcy.
