"Nice hotel with great staff throughout, and a solid restaurant."

"They had a very good breakfast Buffet. The last day we were there the toasters were not out. Staff stated they were a fire hazard and made the toast ahead of time, which wasn’t very tasty but there were enough other options to choose from. The room was very spacious with a separate sitting area from the bedroom, which were really appreciated. The only negative was we were on the first floor and it was very noisy, probably due to no carpeting in the rooms. It was loud every time someone ran water. We paid extra for parking but it was nice having indoor parking. The proximity to the harbour and Fisherman’s Wharf was wonderful as we could walk to many places. "

"Small but clean rooms in a convenient location. Staff were friendly. No amenities, their website mentions access to a local gym, though this was not relayed upon check-in. Check-in is only after 4pm and our room was not available earlier."

"My family and I stayed at the Chateau whilst visiting family on Vancouver Island, having never stayed here before we were unsure what to expect, but on arrival all the staff were super friendly and continued to be even more so throughout the stay, making my young daughter happy throughout every interaction, the hotel itself was great, clean, well kept and very spacious rooms, plus great views from higher up. We visited the restaurant on the 18th floor a number of times as well as the bar on the lower level and had equally pleasant experiences, we have all said we will stay there again on our next visit to Victoria."

"We enjoyed our stay at The Embassy Inn. This is the second time we have stayed with them. It is clean and quiet with a great location close to the harbour. The breakfast is good and there is a small outdoor seating area at the back of the hotel to enjoy Victoria weather. (It would have been nice to have seating in their front garden as well.) The property is older and could use updating but otherwise is maintained. The beds are comfortable and they make up the room daily which was a pleasant surprise. The only wrinkle was having to pay for parking. On Expedia, it said their price included all taxes and fees and that the parking is free. This is not the case. There is a $20/day parking fee. There is plenty of street parking and a large paid (but cheaper), parking lot behind the building so if you're on a budget consider those options."
