"We had the Newbury room and it was very comfortable and spacious. Very tasteful and thoughtfully designed. The grounds are lovely. The bidet toilets were next level! The location is in a quiet residential neighbourhood - about 10 min walk to the ocean.
About 10-15 mins by car to downtown Victoria. The restaurant is super busy every night (!) so didn’t manage to try it, so make sure you book in advance. Lovely boutique hotel! "

"Dashwood is a wonderful B & B in a historical building. The building itself has a lot of heritage charm, and so does the room I stayed in. There was a partial ocean view in the spacious, comfortable room. The bed was very comfortable, and the room had a nice tv, period furniture, a small fridge, a desk, and a bathroom with lots of hot water and a comfy tub! It was tastefully appointed and quiet in the evenings. The breakfast was a bonus, and the staff friendly and accommodationg! I would stay...
