Our 3-night stay at Abigails was wonderful. What sets this hotel apart from other hotels were the small personal touches like the handwritten welcome note on our bed as well as 2 delicious handmade cookies. On the days when they were not able to enter our room, a basket of fresh towels, coffee and fresh water was left outside our door. Also included in the room price is the chef prepared daily 3-cource breakfast served in the dining room, which was shockingly good, as was the ever-attentive waitstaff. Their 4:30pm daily light snacks during our stay, were excellent. We had Lentel soup, Charcuterie boards and Spinach and Artichoke dip with pitta bread, all of which were delicious. It truly was a great experience in a great centrally located hotel. We would highly recommend this hotel.

We had a great stay at the Abigail. The breakfast was delicious, the staff were very friendly, and the room was clean and comfortable. We also really enjoyed the free afternoon light meal—it was a nice extra. I would definitely recommend staying here.

A delightful change from large hotel chains. Amazing staff including reception, breakfast, and housekeeping. Shocked at how great the included breakfast was every day. What a great upgrade from other hotel breakfasts. Great location within wobble distance to all of our favorite establishments. Missed having a gym but we walked a lot to make up for it.

Staff were to a person friendly, professional and very helpful. It is clear they take pride in their job as and are a strong team that communicates well. Restaurants and the Inner Harbour were in easy walking distance. Breakfasts were excellent and appreciated the daily weather forecast delivered with the menu.

This was such a lovely experience. The hotel was sweet enough to upgrade our room for our anniversary as a surprise! The space was lovely and clean, and the bed was exceptionally comfortable. The staff were all welcoming and kind. The breakfast selection they offer each morning was delicious! The location is great too. About 15-20 minutes of walking to get downtown and experience that. Having it be ages 16+ definitely added to our visit. It was very relaxing and everything we needed. We will be back!

The hotel is really charming - tucked away in a downtown neighborhood in Victoria and close walking distance to the Harbour. We loved our well-appointed room. Towels, pillows and bedsheets were fine quality. The bed is a bit pounded out on one side and could probably be replaced soon. We stayed in the Bessborough building in room B102 just above the dining room. One morning we were awakened by the sound of techno music with a loud bass/subwoofer. The following night we heard a television being played very loudly in a nearby room. And the following two mornings, we were awakened by the sound of doors constantly slamming shut starting very early in the morning (5:30-6:00) which was really unfortunate as we had hoped to get some rest from our previous nights of disrupted sleep. We would stay at hotel Abigail again in the Bess building as it’s the only one with an elevator, but we would insist on getting something on the top floor next time. Breakfast was wonderful and staff were all very nice.

Our room was very clean and well stocked with wine available for purchase. Every staff member was pleasant and helpful. The full breakfast included in the price was amazing! We also enjoyed the courtesy soup offered late in the afternoon. The 10 minute walk to downtown meant we parked our car for the 3 days we stayed at the hotel.
