"Staff at the front desk was exceptional! Super friendly and ready to greet you and help you the moment they see you. Bike storage was just an old garage, but we felt it was very secure. Hard to find hotels in Victoria that allow e-bikes. Quaint and old fashioned, great vibe if you love older buildings. We liked the Emily Carr artwork and the antique furniture in the lobby. Had some great beers in the pub. Distance to downtown was fine. Only a few blocks to the Parliament and the Empress. Standard room was nice. Wished there was a little bit more counter or shelf space for toiletries . Bed was comfy. We'll be back!"
