"Staff was very helpful and kind. Plenty of food options in walking distance (though I suppose “walking distance” might vary for some folks). The bakery in the lobby is delightful and there’s a convenience store down the street. It was quiet and cozy, if a little busy in the mornings down in the lobby. The park across the street is lovely and (usually) quiet and peaceful in the mornings. In short, I recommend staying here unless you want to be a bit closer to the action of Shinjuku."

"The area around the hotel is perfect if you want to stay away from the more crowded parts of the city, but still within walking distance of lots of great places. "We loved our stay here - it’s no frills but very comfortable, clean and best of all so conveniently located in Shibuya - near everything with such lovely places to eat within a couple of minutes. The AC worked great, staff was fantastic. I only knocked off a half a star for the facilities because the carpet is kinda old and grungy and the place looks a bit tired. But I would stay there again anytime. "
