「Housekeeping threw away a shopping bag from my room that contained souvenirs and toys, claiming it was mistaken for trash. While staff were polite and showed me camera footage, they focused more on defending their coworkers than taking responsibility. I was also told this kind of issue doesn’t happen here—despite it clearly happening. The hotel only reimbursed about half the value of the lost items, which doesn’t feel fair. I understand mistakes can happen, but guests should be able to trust...
