I recently stayed at Hashtag98 Hotel in Medellín and had a very pleasant experience overall. Although the room was small, it was very well designed and had everything I needed. It felt modern, cozy, and comfortable, making it easy to relax after a long day. The bed was very comfortable and allowed me to sleep well every night. The shower was also comfortable, with good water pressure and temperature. I stayed on the 7th floor and was impressed by how quiet it was, with almost no street noise, which made the stay even more enjoyable. Room service was excellent throughout my stay, consistently reliable and well prepared each day. It added a lot of convenience and comfort. The front desk service truly stood out. Camilo was incredibly helpful, offering great recommendations on places to visit, answering all my questions, and always checking in to make sure everything was going well and that I was enjoying my time in Medellín. Overall, the stay was smooth, comfortable, and very pleasant. Between the thoughtful room design, excellent service, quiet environment, and attentive staff, I would definitely recommend Hashtag98 Hotel and would gladly stay there again.

This hotel was fine. I read a lot of reviews for similar style hotels in the area and most got the same kinds of reviews so I'm not sure it possible to find the perfect hotel at the right price point in this neighborhood. El Poblado is great! Highly recommend the neighborhood and the location is great. The rooms were fine and clean. However, we booked a double room to stay with our son and there is no door on the bathroom which is a bizarre and inconvenient design choice. Who wants to stay in a room with no door blocking the person showering from view of others in the room? Additionally, the hotel has a huge sign advertising that is keeps vigilant against human trafficking - that is great! But there is no deadbolt (chain lock) on the door. This is a huge security risk for a traveler and I would not stay at the hotel again purely for this reason. Lastly, as with many other hotels in the area, it is incredibly incredibly loud at night. We were on floor 7. I think the noise was from the roof bar, so maybe lower floors are less loud. I don't know. They provide a white noise machine in the room, which definitely helped. I think the noise is somewhat unavoidable in the neighborhood based on reviews of other hotels, so the noise machine was nice. Overall, the hotel was nice. But the lack of bathroom door and security lock would deter from staying again.

There was the smell of food coming into my room all night from the hotel kitchen and I did not like it. Also, the hotel does not have any face towels.

From check in to checkout the staff was exceptional. My birthday was on December 25th and when we came to my room after sightseeing, I found a slice of cake for my birthday. This made my experience so much better. The staff was so welcoming and kind and really made sure we were comfortable. We will be back.

We were able to check in early; however, we had problems with the blackout curtain and the cable. 3rd day there the hotel finally fixed the curtain but cable box was never exchanged. Easy to hear people in the hallway while in the room. We didn’t understand or like that we were requested to wear wristbands.

Most of the staff were really unpolite, the 2 bed room design is very weird, room service is inefficient, if you want to go to be in the rooftop you have to pay, if you want to invite someone to the rooftop you have to pay 200 thousand! It is just all bad for how expensive it is. I suggest everyone to avoid this hotel. There are many that are 10x better in all aspects.
