"TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. UNACCEPTABLE. The service at both check-in and check-out was absolutely DISGRACEFUL. Extremely rude staff, zero courtesy, zero professionalism. I am a World of Hyatt member and stay at Hyatt properties frequently. I have NEVER been treated this badly. Not even close. This was by far the WORST experience I’ve had with the brand. I do NOT recommend this hotel. The room smelled like cigarette smoke, completely unacceptable and we had to request a room change immediately. The elevators were dirty and clearly not well maintained. But the most shocking part? The HORRIBLE attitude of the staff. Completely unacceptable for a hotel of this level. I will NOT be returning to Hyatt Grand Central New York. Ever."

"Clean and comfortable room. A lot of street noise and window to the street is beyond filthy on the outside. Also, the running water was all very hot, i.e., no cold water from any of the faucets. They did provide a bottle of water as a solution ."

"Room ac gave out night 1 of my stay. Itchy sheets, bite marks. Portal AC was placed as a fix but it was just too noisy. Hotel has no water stations nor ice or any places to store food/beverages. First and last time there for my personal preference"
