We went for a concert at Ft Lewis College. My nephew is in the symphonic orchestra. We went to an excellent park and shopping on Main St. We found a fun candy store called Fuzziwiggs and a tasty ice cream shop called Cream Bean Berry. Need more time

There is so much to do. Durango is beautiful. The trains were a lot of fun. Soaring Zip Lines was an exceptional experience. The downtown Main St had many fun shops and dining places. I will visit Durango again but may stay in a different town.

We usually take a trip or to to Durango during the snow season and summer. It's only about 3 hrs away from home. It has a wonderful array of restaurants and shopping. It's close to Ouray and Silverton which are must sees! Love this town!

We love Durango and have been coming to visit regularly for 10 years. If you're hungry, we highly recommend Steamworks for casual dining, and El Moro for something a little more gourmet. Excellent food in both places!

Really nice place to visit. Loved the train to Siverton and back. It is expensive to eat there though. Every meal we had including breakfast was $40.00 or more. But I loved it.

Excellent main street with many shops and restaurants to choose from. All this was easily walkable. Note that on some nights (like Saturday) parking can be an issue.

Durango train museum is the best! The train ride from Durango to Silverton and back was relaxing and offered us beautiful views of gorgeous scenery.

"We had to make a last minute reservation as we were traveling through and a little afraid based on some of the other reviews. We were pleasantly surprised as the room was clean, the beds were comfortable, the employees very nice. We both a a great night sleep and could finish our road trip the next morning. "
