「I've always used this facility when I come down to see the Great Sand Dunes. This visit nice however, there have been some changes since my last stay. The swimming pool area was pretty dark after the sun set as there are not many lights in the area. The water slide and the jacuzzi were inoperable also. I had really looked forward to using the jacuzzi after a day at the Sand Dunes hiking. As to the staff, they were amazing! They were informative, friendly and helpful. The breakfast was light but...

「We were not warned that they were undergoing renovations. First room we went to smelled like cigarette smoke. Receptionist was willing to move us to another room. The rooms are very dated and run down. This doesn't usually bother me, but it was a very disappointing experience for the end of our trip. This is not a $200 a night room. They should have shut down and done the renovations the right way.」

「This hotel has a very nice view and is a great choice for shooting or watching the stars. Their service staff is very friendly and will assist you very well with things to do at the top of the mountain to fix inconveniences.
