Solid option for Mesa Verde trip

Wonderful layout for an extended family. Has some of those b-n-b like amenities, which was super helpful. Breakfast is solid and included hot food (think omelette, hash browns and sausage).

Good motel for one night and convenient to Mesa Verde National Park. Outside doors and limited parking. Hotel staff was great and gave us a really good recommendation for a Mexican restaurant just a short walk from the hotel.

Clean place for a family to lay their heads. Nothing fancy but just what we needed. The breakfast was good and the service except.

On the positive side, the staff were all nice and I really appreciated the early breakfast. On the negative side, the property feels old and run down. You can tell they've tried to update the rooms a little with LVT flooring and new bathroom counters, but it still feels old and worn overall.

Floor had aspalt tar all over it. Couldn't tell from grey wood floors. My daughter could not get the tar off my 3 yr old grandaughters feet. Bugs everywhere on towels, floors, tubs. However Viola who takes care of breakfast is awesome.

Staff is friendly, room was not clean enough for me. Hair in the tub and back of toilet was dusty and a long hair on tank. The beds were mounted on some sort of sheet metal pedestal that was very noisy when accidenatally kicked. Breakfast was ok, would prefer yogurt and fruit.

Motel not Hotel -- but comfortable enough

Think "motel" not "hotel". Super simple. Room layout was spacious. Beds are on a metal frame that is easily and often bumped, causing a "thunder" sound. Property (including room) was in good enough condition but in need of updating. Breakfast was super simple -- the low end of "typical" for complimentary breakfasts. Lots of restaurants nearby, including a delicious coffee shop (Ziggi's) in the same parking lot.

I really enjoyed staying at this property. First of every single member of the staff I came in to contact with were super friendly, very nice, and always made sure I had every thing I needed. All the rooms are remodeled and we're very clean. Lastly they have an awesome hot breakfast every morning. I go to Cortez often to see my kids and having a full size drive and a way to make dinner instead of going out to eat really helped. The kitchenet was really helpful. And all this at a very reasonable rate. I won't stay anywhere else from now on when I'm In Cortez. They have earned my business. Very impressed with this property and it's staff

This was an older property that has been upgraded. It was very comfortable with good beds. It also featured a kitchenette with a full size refrigerator, sink, dishes, stove top, microwave and coffee maker. The shower was good. We would have liked a comfortable chair in the room. There was room for one. The breakfast was better than most. The man in charge did a very good job and was responsive to people's requests. We stayed for two nights as we were touring Mesa Verde and would choose to stay there again.

Excellent little hotel in Cortez, Colorado. Friendly, polite and considerate staff. No fuss check-in. The rooms are very spacious and clean. The bathtub was sparkling! I really enjoyed the towels not being scratchy and smelling of bleach, too. Comfortable beds and really soft sheets. The AC got almost TOO cold for us but I turned it down a bit and slept peacefully through the night. Very nice selection for hot breakfast and the coffee was delicious. We enjoyed our stay so much we stayed a second time on our way back through. On a personal note, I'd like to make sure that I mention that Pam, the lovely front desk clerk, was amazing. All the staff were but she was just extra amazing in wanting to make sure that our stay was comfortable and that everything about our stay was just as we wanted. We did have an issue with the AC in our room our second visit and she addressed it immediately and made sure that the room we got was exactly as we wanted. I appreciated that so much. Such a kind lady. Wow. The entire staff at this little hotel was polite and went the extra mile. We will be staying here again without hesitation.
