「Room was clean, quiet and roomy. Breakfast was very nice and the hotel is in a great location!」

「Very good 」

「The room was spacious and very clean. Breakfast was outstanding.」

「Excellent but I'll rate the breakfast a 5」

「The staff were wonderful and the location is excellent. I rated the property at a three because the room we had, although we had a great view, the AC was incredibly loud when running. Additionally, the toilet did not flush well, and the shower doors would open while in the shower.」

「If you plan to visit Oriental, you must stay at Magnolia House Bed and Breakfast! The innkeepers are so friendly and accommodating. They greeted me as I arrived and took me on a tour of the house explaining the available amenities. The house has a wrap around porch, perfect for relaxing in the evening (I stayed in August and was surprised by the mild evening temperature). I had to leave early morning and typically do not eat breakfast so they had breakfast bars and fruit available for me to grab...

「Staff was very friendly」

「Definitely family friendly. Can check in and spent your whole vacation on site. Alot of activities for all ages. Pool cleaning was a little slack on the inside. But other then that no complaints.」

「The condo was infested with cockroaches, smelled badly of marijuana and was very dirty. When calling to get some sort of refund for having to leave early due to the disgusting conditions - it is impossible to speak to a manager. Have been waiting almost a month for a phone call back. Would not recommend this place.」

「Great staff, room, location!」

「Premium location and comfortable. Beautiful home. Excellent host and delicious breakfast !」

「Everything is perfect. The location, the staff, the food, and the house itself. Definitely will stay there again if we go to New Bern again.」

「My biggest problem was that the only chair in our room was the desk chair. Due to spinal stenosis I can no longer sleep in a bed. I have slept in a recliner for 7 years. The back on the desk chair was too low. I slept very little. My back hurt constantly. Because there was no where to elevate my legs by today my feet and ankles were swollen. There was 1 comfortable chair in the lobby. Each room needs a comfortable char and possibly an ottoman.」

「Beautiful house in the heart of downtown New Bern. Room was very comfortable and breakfast was delicious.」

「The staff was very nice and friendly. It was ok for the money. Only thing was there was garbage outside of the unit which had a smell. There was two dinning room chairs that needed repair.」

「We had a wonderful stay at The Meadows Inn which was in walking distance of all New Bern had to offer. The bed in our spacious room was so comfortable and we had our own private on suite bathroom. The daily included breakfasts were delicious! The innkeeper was so helpful as well. Highly recommend!」

「Love the easy check in , contact free and straight forward . Love the room , very comfortable bed and pillows . Love the choice of pillows , clean and homy feel . The amenities are of good quality , like the variety of coffee and offer free of charge water machine outside the short hallway . Location are the best , major attraction and eateries and water front are all within the walking distance . We only stayed 2 nights 3 days but definitely consider come back to stay here again .」
