「The view of the harbor! The sunset was different everyday. The light was changing all day long and some sailboats were beautiful. The vent of the air-conditionner could have been a bit cleaner but we came after a busy Memorial Day weekend, so that may have been overlooked. The room itself was very clean. Sitting outside by the fire pit was a plus. Having breakfast in the hotel was so convenient. We will be back.」

「Felt completely deceived! I booked the hotel because of the large windows shown online, but the actual room had a tiny window and felt extremely cramped and depressing. Never coming back!」

「The hotel’s location is great, not far from main street. They also offer a free Shuttle bus to take customers to the busiest area in town, so, you don’t have to worry about parking ! We reserved a water view room. It had two big windows , one of the curtain is broken, and they said they are out of batteries, so can not fix it during our stay, so we had to keep it closed all the time. So we can not see the water view from our bed, also because it is too broken, it can not really block the...

「Wir waren mit unserer Tochter für 1 Nacht im Inn und fanden es klasse. Es war schön, sauber , wir hatten ein großes Zimmer und der freundliche Empfang hat es für uns besonders gemacht. Auch die Empfehlung für das Abendbrot war klasse und wir haben uns sehr gut unterhalten mit dem netten Herrn an der Rezeption , der uns mehr über Newport erzählen konnte. Es war spannend. Wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen.」

「This is a beautifully restored historic home. I can't say enough good things about the property and house and staff. We stayed in the Governor's Suite which was very nice and roomy and big roomy bathroom. I must say there are stairs. You must be able to carry your suitcases up the stairs into the house and into your room. Breakfast was very good. Good choices and good coffee. Many things here are within walking distance and felt very safe. I do suggest the trolley tour as you will see...

「Cleveland House is perfect for those who want the experience of a bed and breakfast without all of the high-end luxury amenities. First the sheets and towels were top of the line… Fine Linen. Wonderful!. The rooms were clean. The stairs are standard 19th century very narrow very steep and quite squeaky with floral carpet. No elevator! Common areas are cluttered. But the staff was top-notch and helpful and kind. As a solo traveler it was safe. Location is perfect to walk around downtown...

「The “newly renovated hotel” was a disappointment. ac was broken and the cold water did not work only scalding. So we moved rooms across the world to one that was still open but smelled of cologne like someone had just been in there for a quickly. Staff was rude at bar. They booked the wrong massages at the spa but luckily cut the price. So expensive for the headaches.」

「This is an older hotel, so manage your expectations when booking. The stay was average overall, but the staff was very helpful. Breakfast was decent — not amazing, but enough to keep you satisfied.」
