Just overnight in Warwick, but appeared safe and very quiet with surprisingly little traffic Saturday afternoon and evening. Found good local restaurant, the Greenwood Inn about 2 miles from hotel; friendly neighborhood atmosphere; extensive menu.

Our son lives there, so that was the reason for my visit. Breeze flies nonstop from our hometown, so the airport hotel adds to that convenience. RI is charming with that New England-y feel everywhere. Lots to do and see when the weather allows.

Only experienced a few restaurants, but it seemed like a nice town. We went into Newport everyday while there. Only about 20 minutes (without traffic).

"This hotel is amazing. A great onsite restaurant, located in the middle of Downtown Providence(great dining options, across the street from a mall and has great events nearby like the Providence River fire, etc) and has a Greyhound/Peter Pan bus station on street level, this hotel is a must if you stay in Providence. Excellent hotel to enjoy your stay"
"Our family had an excellent stay here. The location cannot be beat - this hotel is just steps from the public beach access, multiple restaurants, the bus stop (free service to downtown Newport during the summer), and a short walk to the beautiful Cliff Walk. The hotel is well maintained and clean, with an indoor pool and sun deck with views of the sea. Highly recommend. "
"Not so clean had to request a new shower curtain because they are cloth and had been there long enough to make the bathroom smell terribly like wet cloths staff was slow and seemed under skilled but extremely nice and I’ll take that over a stuck up rude person anyday"
