「Great staff that was very helpful. Clean rooms and comfortable beds. Breakfast had a nice variety」

「charming, beautiful historic building staff very helpful. view amazing restaurant and bar very good hotel rooms are probably newer, We were in the main bldg over the kitchen and lovely but a basic room.」

「Room was clean, smelled a little musty. Balcony was very worn (wood). But the checkout staff was extremely rude this am. Other than that , decent for the $.」

「The location of this little motel is perfect if you're taking the ferry to Block Island the next day. It's just two miles from the ferry port. We would have enjoyed staying here even if we were not going to Block Island, though—it's sparkling clean with a ton of little touches that turn a nice motel into a great one. There are towel bars and hooks in all the right places, and even an electrical outlet at the top of the refrigerator for plugging in an electric cooler or whatever else you need to...

「We stayed at this hotel so we could be near my son as it was parents weekend at URI. Lovely grounds and definitely a winery feel to it. Check in and out was simple. Our Room was Lovely... but just a few things could be improved on..expensive hotel so I suppose I expected more... the was a wedding going on so there was loud music until approx. 11pm with lots of guests returning to their rooms making alot of noise. No coffee machine in the room. In our room the bathroom sink had no area to place...

「Beautiful location! Friendly staff and peaceful and calm ambient.」

There is no front desk so you have to call a number to check in or for any issues. When we woke in the morning to find no water, it was hard to get ahold of anyone, as the phone number is someone’s cell phone + they have you call a different number outside of 9-9 + you have to try to write down a different number from the...

「Perfect experience」

「The history of the hotel is amazing, the cleanliness, not so much. Hairs on our sheets, sticky bathroom floor, rude staff members, inadequately supplied toiletries. Would never recommend anyone pay $400 for this. Better places with better customer service in the area.」

「Good location.」

「Visited in October to the Carriage House Inn. Enjoyed central location and ability to walk in residential areas and get to all the great Newport and Middletown sites. Staff were all friendly, professional, and helpful in making my stay great. My room was clean and all amenities were available as advertised. I don’t eat breakfast but the fresh fruit and oatmeal bars offered a great snack midday. Coffee was hot and ready promptly at 7 am every day! Parking is secure, free and onsite. Great...
