When I arrived, they did not have a record of my reservation for the night I arrived, but staff were wonderful and quickly made arrangements for me anyway. Staff were delightful throughout my stay there.

The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. Very basic but as expected for this hotel chain. Great wifi and many tv channels. The new owner attended the front desk and was very helpful, even offering to help us bring our luggage inside. Rear locked door to facility was nearly inoperable so the owner needs to do much maintenance on the facility. Exterior was poorly maintained, with lots of cigarette butts on the ground outside, near the back door. Overall, OK for the price and as expected for this chain. But, the room price doubled on Friday vs Thursday which was very annoying!

There was really nothing unique about the property. I will say it is under new ownership. They have only owned it for 3 weeks so I will absolutely go back next year and see what the updates are and how much better they are. I believe in giving new owners a chance to rectify the mess they bought. The 2 staff members (I believe they were the owners) I did come into contact with were very pleasant.

Only reasonable option for Newport in the summer. Rooms are bare. Thin blanket. Weird smell. Institutional. Front desk was nice. Pet friendly is a bonus. I booked for 2 nights, but left after the first. Someone was blasting “The Doors” album starting around 3:30 am and it didn’t stop until 4:30 am. Got very little sleep. Informed the front desk and was told I should’ve contacted them when it was happening. When you’re dead tired and think the music will stop and you wait, calling seems useless.

Broken rear door which bruised me twice when it banged back. Garbage in the parking lot. No security or onsite cameras, so I had a stranger trying to get into my room- obviously a mistake but it was unnerving. Cockroaches in room. Stained wash cloth. Air conditioning- good. Bed comfortable. Mini fridge and microwave in room, convenient.

Room was dirty and shower was stained. Very thin blankets and could feel the springs in the mattress. Walls were very thin and could hear everything. Staff were lighting off fireworks in the parking lot late at night and the noise was so intense I thought at one point someone was trying to get into our room. The check in host was lovely.

Front desk and staff were all very nice! Air conditioning worked great too and parking was easy. However, cleanliness and upkeep of overall property was poor. Our room was supposedly non-smoking but the smell was pungent upon walking in so much so it made its way onto all of our clothes in our suitcase :) We hosted a variety of bugs throughout our one night stay. Mold on the ceiling, trash and crumbs from previous guests, and very thin walls. It should be illegal to pay the amount that we did for this room. I digress.

Yes it was accommodating to the pets. First room they gave me had ants, threw out the bathroom and all over the beds. They moved my room and it smelt like pee human pee through the hallways

The place is value for money just a place to crash and not hang around. Definitely the carpet in the hallway needs an upgrade. Cleanliness in the room esp the floors need a much thorough clean since it is dusty when we got there. Privacy wise it is a good place to stay safe and not so far fr the main city.
