「The breakfast was decent. I liked the all day coffee. The staff was very nice. The fitness center needed attention. It was dirty both days I went. There were no wipes to wipe the equipment down and there were no workout towels. The outside furniture also needed a good cleaning.」

「Not worth the price. I was just “ok”…… certainly not a $300+per night quality. The shower door rolls open so the floor got very wet. Apparently understaffed. Often no bartender in sight. The planters at the front are empty/dead, etc etc etc」

「Loved that the hotel is right on the beach. Easy access onto and off the beach from the hotel. Had fantastic weather and the ocean was refreshing. A nice hot tub after rinsing off before dinner was a good way to relax the body. We stayed very active. I would stay there again if I go back.」

「Hotel was mostly nice, our room seemed to have the smell of the local seafood restaurant for some reason. It seems to have permeated every possible square inch of the unit. Other than the odd smell, it was a nice stay.」

「Great location for many things. Easy to get in and out of with exits at each end of the road. They have Weber gas grills in front of the hotel if you're using the place as an extended stay.」

「Great location on the beach. Close to restaurants and bars, but still managed to be quiet at night. Nice view of the beach from our balcony. The bed was very comfy and the room was clean. Breakfast wasn't great. Fun to use the pancake-o-matic machine but they were rubbery. The bagels and the coffee were good though. Several good breakfast options nearby though like Sea Biscuit and Acme Lowcountry Kitchen.」

「If you get a room at Sweetgrass Inn with a water view, be prepared to hear children screaming in the pool below all day long. They are not just screams of delight - there are lots of screams of distress. The service and food at the Oystercatcher in the hotel were just mediocre- too bad they don’t raise the quality there. Overall we had fun but there is a lot of room for improvement.」
