"Beautiful log cabin with attractive log furniture inside. Right on the water with tables/chairs to sit by the river. Excellent overflow parking area for boats or trailers that has security cameras to monitor the area. We did not use any amenities of boat ramp so no comments on those. Would rec and would stay there again."

"Charming historical 1920’s hotel with lots of plusses—delicious breakfasts and cocktails in the in-house Sasha Cafe, great in-park location, a nice, courtyard, clean rooms, and comfortable beds. There is great Mountaineer coffee and Ottaway ice cream across the street. Perfect downtown location—in a pretty park, the river, and lots of friendly bars and cafes. The nearby Estuary restaurant is delicious. The Hacienda has an excellent and accommodating staff. So why not a shining “5”? Two critical updates are needed. The hotel lobby is very musty. For those of us with sensitive noses, the lobby’s fragrance of “eau de mildew” is powerful and sets off quality-concern sensors. The carpeting in guest room hallways is dirty, old, and needs replacing asap. It detracts significantly from the lovely and very clean guest rooms. We have family and friends in the area so we hope the management will address these issues because we’d love to come back annually."

"A/C worked well but made a banging noise when it turned off. TV was difficult to operate plus back of remote wouldn’t stay on. It’d be nice to have breakfast go to 10."
