「We had a great time at Barceló Maya Colonial. It’s a family-friendly hotel, perfect for relaxing and spending quality time together. Our stay was very pleasant and the service was excellent — the staff was always attentive, friendly, and helpful. The facilities were well-maintained, with direct beach access, nice pools, and plenty of entertainment and dining options. We would definitely come back! 」

「Loved the service here. Rooms were clean. Room service daily and the mini fridge in the room was always restocked. Pools were large and clean. Swim up bar was nice. Staff were friendly even when treated poorly by other guests. Fun activities. Javi at the breakfast buffet was the highlight of our trip. Beach was not too amazing as we came during the peak of seaweed season. So I don’t blame them. Not sure much effort was being taken the remove any of it though. 」

「Truly friendly and helpful staff throughout the resort who worked hard to understand my Spanglish. They fought bravely to fight an influx of seaweed that was heavier than typical. No hot shower but warm enough. Room was perfect for our girls trip. Expertly cleaned daily. 」

「My husband and I came for a kid free relaxing vacation and the Unico 2087 did not disappoint. We got a swim out room behind one of the main pools and it was a prime location. Not super private if that’s what you are looking for. But we loved the location. The pool waiter would come by and get us drinks and food. We especially love Daniel and Saul made the best drinks. We would enjoy the main pools in the morning and head to our room pool in the afternoon. We were close enough to the main pool...
