「The overall status of the hotel is nice, we arrived quite later at 1:00am, but the housekeeping starts knocking doors from 9:30 all the way to 10:40 (about 4 times) to ask people to check out... they really did what their boss told...」

「Very comfy room, with a hot shower. Nicely decorated with lots of lamps providing pleasant lighting, with armchairs to loll in and read. Quite a grand building, with interesting decor throughout; paperback books in shelves. Breakfast was very good too.」

「We recently stayed at this lovely cottage in Carlisle with my two children and had an amazing time. The place was spotless, cosy, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The cottage had a lovely big garden with beautiful views, and there were some great walks nearby which we all enjoyed. The host was welcoming and made sure everything was just right. We would definitely love to return and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!」

「This was an immaculately clean and comfortable stay. The staff were so welcoming and accommodating. The restaurant had a good choice and the chef clearly takes pride in his food- great quality and lots of choice. The breakfast included traditional ootions but also good quality food. We loved the location and would highly recommend the Queens for an overnight or longer stay. We also brought out dog and we were all made to feel very welcome. 」

「The bungalow was as described very clean and had a lot of nice touches robes for shower tea biscuits coffee etc lots of room for storage and beautiful scenery open fire as well and Georgina was excellent with communication instructions would highly recommend 」

「Staff are always friendly and helpful. They remembered me from a previous visit. Rooms are clean, well presented and accessible (lift). Hotel is right outside the station, and a short distance from the centre of town. Breakfast offers continental or full English (best bacon ever). Loved playing solitaire in the bar - small selection of games/packs of cards available. Lovely place to stay. Highly recommended.」
