Clean, comfortable and warm room. Loved the step in bath in the corner of the bathroom. Breakfast plentiful but on the lukewarm side especially the scrambled eggs. This seems to be an ongoing issue as have stayed here at least twice before and breakfast each time has been on the cool side. Having said that, hope to stay here again when return to Carlisle.

The hotel is right by the railway station and a short walk to the town centre, the lobby and bar area are nice, the lift was out of order whilst we were there, hotel staff really nice, room was good, quite warm, bathroom was OK, water from the shower not that warm, breakfast buffet ok nothing too fancy, overall a good stay

Good hotel and staff but booked a suite but we did not get a room with a sofa or bed robes. Lift was broken and we were on the top floor. Stayed here before, it is a good hotel and would recommend it
