"Travelled by train so very convenient being a few feet from the railway station. With friends so asked for a room near by receptionist a bit off with we're busy and full no apologies. Rooms clean and comfortable. Breakfast nice with good variety. Would stay again in the future."

"The rooms were all very clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and obliging. The food was excellent. It’s quite a quirky place but we liked that.Our only issue was our room was cold but heating a large old house is hard. We would stay again"

"We recently stayed at this lovely cottage in Carlisle with my two children and had an amazing time. The place was spotless, cosy, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The cottage had a lovely big garden with beautiful views, and there were some great walks nearby which we all enjoyed. The host was welcoming and made sure everything was just right. We would definitely love to return and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!"

"Upon checking in was greeted by an unfriendly team member who was not welcoming. There is no lift in this hotel so we had to take our luggage down stairs and then upstairs which was horribly inconvenient. The room was ok but with no air conditioning it was much hotter inside than it was outside. There was a fan in the room that could have been turned on for us but wasn’t. There was only one towel in the bathroom, so my husband and I had to share as when we realized it was too late to request another. One towel in a double room for two people. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel. It was my first time staying at Premier Inn and definitely my last. "
