Friendly country Pub.

Very friendly and attentative service. Rooms are recently refurbished to a high standard. Food was excellent - full breakfast and good selection on the menu (including specials) for dinner.

17th century in. Wow

Absolutely amazing! We found this little gem quite by chance as a half way stop between Scotland and England! It was a fantastic experience and the charm of the 17th century building as well as the charming staff was absolutely perfect in every way. The food was incredible and quite unexpected!

The peace and quiet is stunning.

This was an adorable, historic inn in a tiny town near Hadrians Wall. We ate dinner and breakfast at the pub downstairs. The food was good with vegetarian and vegan options. It was so quiet. We slept with the windows open and I heard only one car the emote stay.
