" There were two things that I wanted to mention. One was the shampoo, shower gel and conditioner situation. Most places in the US in order to be Eco friendly have dispensers in the room instead of these small plastic field with shampoo and conditioner. I really suggest the owners to consider that. We are talking about hundreds of these little containers that are wasted every day. Whereas dispensers can be refilled and there's no environmental impact. Second was the Mattress. I am 175 pounds and I would sink in deep into the mattress with no support. I actually slept on the floor the last night. I am sure it's a big investment to change mattresses and some people actually prefer soft beds. It would be nice to have a small foam mattress for someone like me to sleep on the floor as an alternative. Other than that, the location was great, and the rooms were clean and functional. We looked at the buffet and it did not really look like appealing or something I would be interested in, but thankfully there were a lot of good options around nearby. "

"A good solid visit. Rooms are very small but conveniently located close to downtown banff. Ski shuttles were regularly outside. Shower and pipes were VERY loud. You cannot sleep through it and the walls were paper thin as well. The Hot Pool was neat but much smaller than the photos and the sauna wasn't kept very hot either. Staff were nice enough and always available however, they didn’t seem very knowledgeable on any local activities or sights to see this time of the year. Mostly got redirected to available brochures, without much input. "

"We had a fabulous 2 night stay here. The room was so cozy-deer right outside our window! Bathroom amenities were L'Occitane. The restaurant is really great. We went for a cocktail one night and ended up staying for dinner because the vibe was so good. Service was excellent. They provide free bus passes to get into town and the stop is right outside the hotel. Super easy to get to the main street and back again. Highly recommend-it was an unexpected highlight!"

"The location was perfect. Room was good but we were not aware it was below ground level with no real view. The room was okay but felt claustrophobic because of this. When booked confirmation indicated complimentary bottle of wine on arrival and free room upgrade if possible. When I spoke with the gentleman at the front desk he said upgrade not possible at all but he would make up for it with a complimentary bottle of wine. I indicated that in our booking we already should have a bottle of wine. We did not get upgraded or ANY bottle of wine. We went in and out at various times of the day over our 5 days there and it never even seemed half full at any point. When I mentioned to the woman at check out, she said she was disappointed and agreed we should have been able to have an upgrade as there was availability for it…..well too late now. When I mentioned about the basement level room, she showed me a print out that indicated the room was below ground level saying she got it off Expedia, I came home and checked my exact booking details and it was NOT indicated below ground. We chose these accommodations for the views and did not see any while in the room. We did find the accommodations clean and decently supplied. "
