「OMG, fantastic experience. Highly, highly recommend the couple owners and the property. They bought it in 2017 and went through a massive renovation. Clean, presentable, and well cared for. 「I traveled constantly for many years and have stayed at hundreds of different properties, and at this price point, The Mallard Hotel is among the nicest I’ve stayed in. Clean, comfy, modern and a nice covered seating area outside with beautiful views. Highly recommend!」

「The owner was amazing! He went over to the building at night to turn lights on for us so that we could play darts! Great location!」

「The cabin was much more than expected. You could not find a bigger slice of home anywhere on the ocoee River. Bigfoot cabins are the way to go. A fully stocked house with charcoal grills, plates silverware. Rainfall shower head. Again I cannot recommend this place highly enough to satisfy how nice it is.」

「The bathroom needed updating. The bathtub was not clean. The staff at the front desk tried to sell beer. Not very professional.」

「This is a hotel for river rafters and people with dogs. The staff is super kind and helpful, but the room was gross. There was a dirty sock from a previous visitor upon check in. Super convenient access to Cherokee National Forest, but do not expect a super clean room.」
