Hotel was a little outdated in the hallways and bedrooms, but they did keep them very clean and well stocked.
Recommend booking rooms with a balcony view only, as they overlooked a beautiful pool area. We booked twin room with city views that was very disappointing as this consisted of a carpark and back streets.
Food menu had lots of great choices and were always very tasty. The cake stand was a highlight of the hotel and I would highly recommended the lemon meringue and chocolate cupcake.
Pool area service was poor as they never came back to clear dirty pots, so flies became a problem after it had been there all afternoon. Pool toilet door needs lock repairing and hand towels adding. However even with the couple of items that could have been better, I would still recommend this hotel as being in the heart of old Bangkok with a very friendly set of staff.
