Close to railway and buses. A thousand shops and restaurants. Lively atmosphere. Midway between Yokohama and Tokyo. Low cost abundant efficient transport system. At Kawasaki city, I experienced real Japan away from the epicenter of overtourism seen in Kyoto, Osaka, Tokyo. I have seen daily out of house activities of a gentle polite helpful people that inhabit the Land of the Rising Sun. Everyone in the world with a dollar in the pocket has to live in Kyoto for a week during Sakura cherry blossom. Live is incomplete otherwise. Steven, from Melbourne, Australia.
The apartment was very clean and tidy. The hotel staff were very friendly, polite and informative. The staff let me keep my fold-up bicycle outside my apartment door during my stay. The apartment was equipped with bath towels, toiletries, and bed linen. On the first floor there is a laundry area to wash your clothes. Inside the apartment was a tea/coffee maker and a microwave oven. The apartment is very central and only 6 minutes walk from Kawasaki train station. You can get to Shinagawa in under 15 minutes. There are many great bars and restaurants in the area. Only one very small problem I found was that the Internet speed wasn't very strong. For value for money, I recommend Flexstay Inn Kawasaki.
