Ms Kubo from Housekeeping does an excellent job. We left her some chocolates to thank her for taking care of our room. She in return, left us a box of beautiful bath roses from the Sheraton. This gift of thoughtfulness made our stay at the Sheraton most memorable as her kindness was a happy surprise. We will always think fondly of the Sheraton Yokohama Bay. The front desk staff and concierge were also very helpful and efficient when we departed from the hotel.

I believe this property fundamentally is NOT tourist focused, and definitely would not be to standards fit for a family vacation. Staff was attentive, courteous and exude Japanese values. However, the Sheraton in and of itself is business oriented and driven. The lay out itself should have been red flags, multiple restaurants, businesses, weddings venues etc. proliferate the entire hotel and are obviously its priority. Please review other negative reviews of this property as they are all true and you have been warned. From the very start, I was Absolutely disappointed with hotel policy of not accommodating an early check-in or at the very least service guest with options. Caught a red eye flight-in, up for for more than 24hrs only to be told at the front desk that they could not accommodate anything until 3pm and to come back then. Tired and exhausted, no place to wait, we were forced into the corner of the lobby to wait for over 5 hours. I’ve never been treated or made to feel like a homeless person in my life. With so many other hotels to choose from, your money would be well spent not at the Sheraton. Will NOT be giving this company any future business.

Came Back Again, Sustains Beyond Expectations

This is probably my most favorite hotel in Yokohama Vicinity. Lounge Access and amazing Kanagawa signature dishes on breakfast menu are superb, and the room that I booked had beyond everything I wanted. The fact that this hotel links to station is great that I didn't need a cab to get there. Definitely, I will book here again.

The room was not as large as we expected. I went to talk with the Club receptionists (Mana and Masahiro) who courteously help to find suites available to upgrade. Final we enjoyed the 2 suites which were excellent. Thanks to them, our stay turned from mediocre to marvelous overnight. One thing this hotel should do is to upgrade their tv to smart tv. Currently no streaming/casting/YouTube/etc. Breakfast at the Club was fine but on 2nd floor was amazing. This hotel is centralized, smack in the middle of shopping areas & train station. It’s a perfect pied-à-terre in Yokohama!
