The Rose hotel is very good value for money and is in central Chinatown if that’s your thing. Unlimited (Chinese) food options and close up the station to explore the rest of Yokohama and greater Tokyo. The hotel is slightly aged but still has its charm with friendly and helpful staff.

It was a stop on the bus route from Haneda Airport. There were many dining options and a convenience store nearby. I was particularly impressed with the great service and personal attention of the staff at the reception counter and that of the bell captains. Personally, I would like to thank Junko ( the gal with the “Kiwi” accent) for her concern and exceptional service.

中華街にあるこのホテルはとにかく便利。中華街は勿論、山下公園、大さん橋、馬車道、元町など徒歩圏内です。羽田空港行きバスもホテル前から乗車できるし、鉄道の駅もすぐ近くです。建物自体は新しくはありませんが、清潔であり、ビジネスホテルには無い重厚感を感じます。中華街が目の前なので、ホテルの朝食はとっていません。レストラン入口にはケーキを販売しており、大変おいしくいただきました。また是非利用したいホテルの一つです。

立地は便利でとてもよかった。部屋も清潔だった。 ツインルームとはいえ、子どもを含む4名分で予約しているのに、子ども用アメニティやタオルが備えられておらず、有料で求めなければならなかったことは、もてなされているとは思えず不満だった。また、朝食は充実していてとても美味しかったが、終了時間を何度も繰り返し伝えられたり、まだ食べている横で、大きな音で食器を片付けられたりして、時間までに追い出そうとする雰囲気があからさまであり、気持ち良くなかった。

Zwar in die Jahre gekommen, aber alles noch top in Schuss. Schnell von Flughafen zu erreichen. Auch ist man in 50 min in Tokio. Chinatown und Bahnstation ist vor der Tür, das Baseballstadion in 7 min zu Fuß erreichbar. Doppelzimmer sind groß.
