"I am not sure where to begin with this place if im being honest... First night, the sheets were damped but the room was clean, they were on top of that. Pool: Fun to go too, but be prepared to get only ONE towel, and be prepared to return it or they hold you it against you the next time you want one. There's no pool service, no food allowed either, and you will have to get your own drinks at the bar."

"3/5 stars. It was fine, nothing to scream about. Definitely needs upgrades. Water park needs a fresh coat of paint, sucks the beach wasn't on the actual COBA property but a short trolley ride away. The staff were very good to us as we had two young kids. I would likely comeback but stay at the AKUMAL resort instead it was beautiful and beach front. Late checkout was accommodated at no charge which was fantastic, but no chance for el la carte dinners as they were all booked up solid before we even arrived. So buffet 3x a day for 7 days was a bit much. "

"The bath drain was full of rust and the water came out brown , when my friend took a bath the whole room was flooded without the bath even being full .. they tried go say that it was our fault until the supervisor came up and saw that the the plumbing system was in fact broken, didn’t offer compensation and didn’t even offer us new towels when they clearly saw we used them all to try to clean up the flood. 2 pairs of designer sandals were stolen and then they refused to let me look in the lost and found and then when I asked for the cameras , they gave me the go around and never came through. "

"Rooms were clean, mini bar was stocked daily, staff was friendly, food was good lots of options. Brazilian and Japanese restaurants were sooo good! Drinks were meh. Main pool bars could have used two bar tenders "

"Boutique charm with excellent management: This hotel has a wonderful boutique vibe and several standout features. The beach is beautiful, with well-maintained palapas and chaise lounges. Unfortunately, we visited during sargassum season; while the staff worked hard to clean the beach, nature ultimately won. We loved that the room had a fan (as we prefer it over AC) and a surprisingly soft, comfortable mattress—a rare find! Communication with Tony, the manager, was quick and very friendly from check-in to checkout. One note for future guests: we asked the hotel to call a taxi and were charged $23 USD for a 5-minute ride. While the "taxi mafia" is a known issue throughout Quintana Roo and not the hotel's fault, it did mar the end of our stay."

"This is our 3rd year going there. Because we have had such an amazing experience the previous two times we had been there. All the staff from the Bar tenders, wait staff, activity staff, the trolley drivers, and house cleaning were absolutely amazing!! The food was so delicious! The only complaint we had was trying to get smaller bills so we can tip the staff. There seemed to be a shortage on $1 bills We are already planning on going back there next year. We have highly recommended to all our friends and family. You totally treat us like kings and queens. Was wonderful the staff made it so relaxing, the only decision we had to make was what to eat and drink.😊 the Bar tenders and waitresses were so amazing the would usually have a drink for us even before we ordered . That was so shocking because they are taking care of so many guests. 😊"
