"Our overall stay was fantastic! The location is perfect — you’re right in the middle of everything Salem has to offer, and everything is within a short walking distance. I’d definitely recommend paying for the parking; it made things much easier instead of having to search for a spot. Our only complaint was that the windows are very thin, so you can hear almost everything happening outside throughout the night. We stayed in one of the front rooms overlooking the parking lot and main road, which probably made the noise more noticeable. With that said, we would definitely stay there again."

"This hotel is so beautiful. I felt as if I were going back in time. The room was very spacious and full of old-fashioned details that I loved. Definitely want to stay again!"

"Had The best time; The room was a bit short on the clean side.. ie crumbs etc saw some ants BUT clean sheets, towels, furniture etc. it just seemed like the cleaner was in a rush, I just think someone missed the mark. Location is 10/10. Property is amazing and everyone was friendly! Lots of amenities. Fireplace in the courtyard, lots of places for pictures! Parking is easy, and doors are accessible to the outside. Beds were comfy and it was mostly quiet! Seems they are putting up an air-conditioned room for the summer and fixing the burned units in another spot of the property."

"Stay for our daughter's nearby graduation. It was perfect. The gentleman in the lobby directed us to great options for food within walking distance. Our short stay let us to new friends and a love of Salem and The Hotel Salem."

"Loved our visit. Greeted with warm cookies, and plenty of goodies in the fridge. Yummy coffee which can be had at any time and relaxing seating area. Across the street are a mainstay of hotels of all types, so the choices were many and diverse. Rooms well appointed, and the beds are some of the best sleep offered. Parking on site makes lifre grand too !!!"
