「Wow, where to start? My room was dirty- sticky debris on the floor and on the counter in the bathroom. I didn’t even want to walk in the room with my shoes and off it was so grimy. Sheets smelled clean but looked dirty (e.g. hair, stains). There was a strong smell of cigarette smoke and at one point I could see it wafting in the hallway despite the rooms being non-smoking. 「The manager/owner was very responsive when I asked for a clean bedspread, as the one in our current room had pet hair all over it. I asked for a clean bedspread and he graciously moved us to a new room that was also an upgrade at no additional charge. Once moved, we found the bathroom floor around the tub and toilet very dirty/moldy, toilet not very clean, plunger had toilet paper from last use, no Kleenexes, broken shower surround, anti-slip mat in tub moldy, barely useable/leaking faucet and...

「We were impressed we showed up real late and the office closes early the put our keys outside where we were able to retrieve them did not have to go to the office once ! Also for those of you that still smoke like my mother momma it does say non smoking property but they do have a few Ash trays out side that can be used just please use them or that rule will be taken away ! 「Well I didn't stay there. There was no room available. Some how Expedia & the hotel have some kind of miscommunication about no vacancies available. Good thing I call before flying out there for work. Lucky I found one that has rooms available. 」

「It’s spring break in Oregon which you would think would mean more staff or the property being ready to handle that. First impression going to our room was a heaping garbage in front of our room , definitely not emptied an it was still the same after 3 days being there . The pool had no towels for us and we had to wait nearly an hour to get any. Then the sauna was broken, the bathroom in the pool area was not cleaned either . 「 Staff (Peggy) was very friendly and accommodating. Family and I used to come fairly often 25-30 years ago. Nice to see they have the same themed rooms. As always, being right on the ocean front, dealing with sand and TLC for the property is a constant job. I spent four nights there and really enjoyed myself. There was a time a number of years ago when they no longer allowed children. Not sure that is still the case, but would be worthwhile to check. 」

「Room was spotless, very nice ocean view. The king bed was so comfortable as was the whole room. The whirlpool tub was such a nice amenity to warm you in cold rainy weather. Great location, access to Mo's Restaurant and the ocean beaches.」

「It’s a great place to stay. We stayed in a very cozy cabin with kids and they had a blast with s’mores and board games! Definitely plan to go back 😊. Only thing we missed was the food as we went Mon-Wed and the restaurant is only open Thu-Sun. But there are plenty of places to eat nearby so this is not a problem . 」

「Our stay was the coziest experience I’ve had in a while. We loved our room, being near the ocean, the fire pit for s’mores, and vegetarian breakfasts cooked fresh in the morning. I loved feeling taken care of with little details to make our stay nice, yet no one bugged us for anything and we felt so chill and at ease at this property. We’ll be back! 」
